How to stop caring that no one cares about you?

I feel the same way. Well my parents care for me unconditionally and always have, but they are 800 miles away. I open myself up to people very slowly and just as I feel like I trust someone 100% they find a way to shatter it. I wish I had an answer for you and for me.
