Help with registered dogs?

The United Kennel Club (UKC) is the second oldest kennel club in AMERICA. AKC is the oldest. CKC is the Canadian Kennel Club. (CKC is also the Contenental Kennel Club used by puppy mills to register any breed) Make sure you know which club your breeder is a member of. Make sure you find a reputable breeder before you by a pet. DO NOT buy from a pet store ! See the puppy's parents and where they came from. go back several times before you buy a puppy. do your research!!! be an informed consumer. Get references. My breeder required them from me and gave me hers. My dogs are being shown in both AKC and UKC shows, and we have a signed contract with our breeder. Remember these pets will be with you for 10-18 years.
