Obama's Health Care Bill?

Okay so... I'm 20, was on my dad's insurance with HealthNet. Got terminated because I'm not a full-time student. Couldn't be a full time student because of crazy tonsillitis 2 weeks every month since January. Had them taken out, had to drop my cles because of the sicknesses/surgery. Everything made it difficult to hold a job. My friend has worked for Blue Shield for years, and she said that with the new Health Bill, I should be able to stay on my fathers plan until I'm 26. Is this true? Or have I fallen into some crazy loophole?
